Nagpur News Today : In Vaishali Nagar under MIDC Police station jurisdiction today, a huge amount of 500 rupees currency notes were found in burnt condition.
The incident came to light when an unknown caller informed the Police. Staff from MIDC police station lead by assistant police sub-inspector Atul Navgire immediately reached the spot to find the burnt notes in a garbage bin and scattered all around.
Police has started an investigation to find out if the burnt currency notes were fake or real. The currency found on the spot are half burnt and have been detached from the bundle of many 500 rupee notes.
Police are investigating the matter and more details are awaited. Currently rumours in the city state that due to frequent CBI raids in the, someone has burnt the notes.
