Buddha Festival 2019 to start from January 23

Nagpur: Nagpur Buddhist Centre along with P.P Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Smarak Samiti Dikshabhoomi and South Central Zone Cultural Centre are jointly organizing its ninth consecutive Buddha Festival 2019, from January 23 to 27 at Dikshabhoomi, Nagpur.

A press conference was held at Dikshabhoomi premises on January 10 by chief coordinator Dr Sunil Talware where he informed about the 5 day festival he further informed that the inauguration will be done by the hands of chief guest Dr Sukhdeo Thorat.

The salient features if the festival will be various cultural fest, Buddhist International Film Festival, Ratnavali Lecture series on the topic Nation, Buddhism, and Democracy on January 24,25,and 26, by many prominent speakers.

Two workshops on Business to Customer and Youth Empowerment along with football tournament will be held for boys under 15 years of age on January 20,21 and 22.

The festival will also feature many exciting features like food zone, artifacts zone, art gallery and kids zone.
