Nagpur News : Eve teasing proved fatal to a youth after he was beaten black and blue and was stabbed in abdomen by an enraged middle-aged man for stalking his sister on Sunday night. The incident took place at around 9.45 pm under the jurisdiction of Pratap Nagar police station.
Details have it that Rahul Devidas Ingle (22), a resident of Kamgar Colony, Subhash Nagar had been stalking sister of Kanchan Roopchand Mankar (37) for quite sometime. On Sunday, Rahul was going to market with his friend Akash Deepak Bodade (18) when Kanchan located him near Gold Star ground, Subhash Nagar, Naik layout. Kanchan approached Rahul and demanded why he was teasing his sister. In a fit of rage, Kanchan took out a knife and stabbed Rahul in abdomen and also injured his shoulder. Akash immediately informed Pratap Nagar police who reached the spot and took Kanchan into their custody. Meanwhile, Rahul was admitted to Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
Cops have registered an offence under Section 307 of the IPC against Kanchan and started their investigations.
