Bro-in-law’s murder allegation in his mother’s death landed senior railway official in trouble

Nagpur News : A Senior Railway official who was about to perform last rituals of his mother-in-law landed in trouble after his brother-in-law alleged murder in the death at last moment and called police to take the body for post mortem.

Senior Division Commercial Manager Pradeep Kumar, posted at Nagpur central railway station, claimed that his mother-in-law Ashalata Pawar, 80, was suffering from paralysis and died natural death. He even produced her medical documents while under going treatment. However, despite of all the explanations, police has to shift the body from crematorium to mortuary to conduct the pos mortem on the basis of allegation made by Kumar’s brother-in-law Mahendra Singh Pawar.

Pawar, a resident of Bhopal, is a doctor and claimed that he was told about his mother’s sudden death on Wednesday morning.

From past few years, Ashalata was staying at Kumar’s residence. Kumar was only taking care of her medical treatment and expenses. She breathed her last on Wednesday early morning and relatives were informed.
While the body was on the way to crematorium, Pawar called police control room alleging murder in his mother’s death. Within minutes Sadar police reached the crematorium before the body was lit on pyre. On being insisted by police, Kumar has to allow the cops to take the body for post mortem.
