Alert residents call to police foiled robbery attempt at Kharbi Square

Nagpur News : Quick action by an alert resident foiled a robbery plan of two armed youths who had forcefully entered a butchers shop and was threatening him at knife point. Pramod Larokar’s was at his shop at Kharbi Square on Wednesday afternoon when two youths entered and threatened him at knife point to give money. While they were searching his drawers, an alert resident who noticed the robbery attempt informed nearby Nandanvan police.

Police acted timely and get hold of accused Shaikh Shabbir, 20, and Shaikh Naseem, 24, before they flee from the spot. On Larokar’s complaint, police has registered a case against Shabbir and Naseem.
