Nagpur: A 21-year old boy took a woman, elder than him, for a ride by promising to marry her and raped her since the past eight months. When the victimized woman insisted for marriage, the accused bluntly refused to do so and also threatened her dire consequences. The lewd accused has been booked.
The Nandanvan resident, Saprem Khemdas Mankar (21), extended friendship with the woman (25) with an evil plan and later promised to marry with her. With these promising words, the accused Saprem exploited the woman sexually from 25.1.2016 to 12.8.2016. However, when the woman insisted Saprem to marry with her, he showed his true colours and bluntly refused to do so. Saprem even threatened her is she insisted for marriage. The dejected by the turn around by Saprem, the victimized woman registered a case with Nandanvan police against him.
The Woman PSI Jaybhaye has booked the accused Saprem Mankar under Sections 376(A), 506 of the IPC and probing the matter further.
