Booty worth Rs 2 lakh stolen in two housebreaking cases

Nagpur: In two different cases of housebreaking, booty worth Rs 2 lakh were reportedly stolen under the jurisdiction of Tehsil and Hudkeshwar police station.

In a first incident, reported in Tehsil police station, some unidentified culprits broke in room no. 104 of Ambumiya building with duplicate key and fled with gold and silver antiques tune of Rs 78,000.

Tehsil Police has registered a case of burglary under section 454, 457,380 of IPC followed by complaint of Mohammad Dilshan Mohammad Salim Sheik (39), resident of Ganjipeth, Gandhi square.

In second incident, complainant Pravin Mundhane (42), resident of Plot. No. 70A, Uday Nagar told police that accompanied with his family he had gone for a wedding in Amravati between July 14 and July 17. In the meantime some anonymous miscreants gained entry in house, after braking kitchen window and absconded with gold ornaments and cash to the tune of Rs 1,19,000 .

Hudkeshwar police station has registered a case under section 454, 457,380 of IPC. Further details are awaited…
