    Booty worth Rs 2.81 lakh stolen from house in Pachpaoli

    Nagpur:
    House of a family who had gone out of station was struck by some unidentified miscreant(s) and cash of Rs 1 lakh and gold ornaments valued at Rs 1.81 lakh were stolen. The theft took place in Pachpaoli police jurisdiction between August 16 and 19, 2017.

    The complainant Manoj Pandurang Nikhar (38), resident of Naik Talao, behind Hanuman Mandir, Bangladesh locality, told police that he had gone to Mumbai for some work. His wife and sons had gone to Chandrapur between August 16 and 19, 2017. Taking advantage of the situation, some unidentified burglar(s) broke open lock of main door and gained entry into Manoj’s house. The miscreants laid their hands on cash of Rs 1 lakh and gold ornaments worth Rs 1.81 lakh kept in an almirah.

    Pachpaoli API S S Kedare has booked the unidentified burglar(s) under Sections 454, 457, 380 of the IPC and searching for them.
