No one knows what is in store for them when they start their day. A father and son who were travelling in a Bolero SUV loses, control and falls into a canal. While the son died on the spot, the father sustained critical injuries and is undergoing treatment at a hospital.
According to police sources, the deceased son is identified as Ashok Harne aged 35 years and the injured father is identified as Ramadeen Harne aged 65 years. The road mishap occurred at 8:30 am, when the father Ramadeen Harne along with his son Ashok Harne were returning home after irrigating their farm situated in Ghorpad. They were travelling in their Bolero SUV bearing RTO registration No MH-40/ KR 9029.
When the duo reached a spot which is situated 2 kilometers from Kamptee, near a funeral grounds, the father who was driving the Bolero suddenly noticed a truck approaching them at a high speed, he lost control over the Bolero and veered off the road and falling down into a canal. The son Ashok Harne died on the spot, while the father Ramadeen sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a hospital where he is still undergoing treatment.
On receipt of the information, Kamptee Police reached the spot and after performing Panchanama and other formalities, sent the dead body of Ashok Harne to Government Hospital for Post-Mortem. The Kamptee police are investigating further.
