BJP emerges winner on 11 out of 12 assembly seats in Nagpur district

Nagpur.

As counting for Vidhan Sabha Assembly elections got over on Sunday, BJP ticked a remarkable win in 11 out of 12 constituencies in Nagpur district. The sign of victory started surfacing right since the party was leading at majority of seats during the initial round of counting.  The fact that BJP has won some of the major constituencies displayed the effect of Modi wave which some-how still persisted.

The constituencies where BJP established its supremacy were:

In Katol Assembly Constituency –Ashish Deshmukh of BJP got 40913 while the nearest opponent Anil Deshmukh got 37431 votes, while in Saoner Assembly Constituency of Congress Party – Sunil Kedar received 84630 while nearest opponent Vinod Jiwtode of Shiv Sena garnered 75421 and in Hingna Assembly Constituency Sameer Meghe got 46362 while the nearest rival Rameshchandra Bang got only 28118. In Umred Assembly Constituency, Sudhir Parve led by 86297 against the nearest opponent Rukhadas Bansod of BSP who garnered 31,670. In Nagpur South West Assembly Constituency-Devendra Fadnavis got 10, 3477 while the nearest opponenet Praful Gudhade Patil garnered 50881.

In Nagpur South Assembly Constituency- Sudhakar Kohle garnered 57512 while the nearest rival Satish Chaturvedi of Congress Party got only 28663.

In Nagpur East Assembly Constituency- Krishna Khopde 93573 while the nearest rival Abhijeet Wanjari of Congress garnered only 48621 votes.

In Nagpur Central Assembly Constituency- Vikas Kumbhare got 49453, while the rival Anees Ahmed garnered only 27447 votes.

In Nagpur West Assembly Constituency- Sudhakar Deshmukh garnered 82064, while the nearest rival was Vikas Thakre who garnered only 57347.

In Nagpur North Assembly Constituency- Milind Mane got 42638 while the nearest rival was Kishore Gajbhiye who garnered 40036.

In Kamptee Assembly Constituency- Chandrashekar Bawankule garnered 115616, while the nearest rival was rajendra Mulak who got 82396.

In Ramtek Assembly Constituency- D M Reddy got 56104, while the nearest rival Ashish Jaiswal got 44396.
