The accused Nitesh alias Monu Suresh Pal, entered the woman’s house by an excuse of finding a cricket ball on May 14. Nitesh grabbed her gold jewellery worth about Rs 2 lakh as the woman was alone. The ornaments include two necklaces, and a “mangalsutra.” The accused Nitesh even threatened to kill her and other family members if she narrates the incident to anybody including police. Nitesh rapes woman when she demanded return of her gold ornaments.
Nagpur News: A youth, in a diabolical and heinous plan, first snatched gold ornaments worth Rs 2,00,000 from a married woman when she was alone in her house, and raped her after a month by promising return of gold ornaments to her.
According police, the youth Nitesh alias Monu Suresh Pal, a resident of Gawalipura, near Lord Hanuman Temple, Chhaoni, entered the woman’s house in Sadar locality by an excuse of finding a cricket ball onMay 14. After entering her house, the accused Nitesh grabbed her gold jewellery worth about Rs 2 lakh as the woman was alone in the house at that time around 12 noon. The ornaments include two necklaces, and a “mangalsutra.” The accused Nitesh even threatened to kill her and other family members if she narrates the incident to anybody including police.
However, on May 22, the married woman demanded return of her gold ornaments from the accused Nitesh. (It can be assumed that either the woman knew the accused Nitesh or Nitesh himself had uncovered his identity without any fear). But when the woman demaded return of her booty, Nitesh called her at a place and took her to Saoner by an auto. He then moved to a lodge in Saoner itself. The woman told police that Nitesh alias Monu offered a cold drink laced with powerful sedatives. The accused, as soon as the woman passed out due to the sedatives, raped her. After committing the shameful act, the accused Nitesh again doled out a life threat to her and her other family members.
However, the married woman gathered daring and reported the matter to Sadar Police Station. The police have booked Nitesh alias Monu Suresh Pal under sections rape and threatening to kill her and other family members.
