Nagpur: Prakash Ambedkar has accused the goverment of safeguarding the persons responsible for Bhima-Koregaon violence. Speaking to the media persons in Nagpur, Bharip- Bahujan Mahasangh leader Prakash Ambedkar called accused of Bhima -Koregaon incident Bhide and Ekbote as Hafiz Saeed of India who have been protected by government. He further said that there were many Hafiz Saeeds in various states of the country. After the incident two Hafiz Saeeds have been exposed. Now government should take action against them. If government saves them then soon the situation in India would become like Pakistan and they would have a hold in the country.
Everbody knows that Manhorpant Bhide and Milind Ekbote are behind Bhima-Koregaon incident despite this, the government is protecting them.
Ambedkar alleged that Government has been purposely encouraging the Hindu forces. Earlier there were clashes between Hindu-Muslim, Hindu-Christians but now the situtaion has come where Hindus would clash among themselves. The people who had gathered at Bhima-Koregaon sauryastambha to pay their tributes were Hindus who were attacked by the Hindus. In country there are two types Hindu organisations. One organisation is which goes with people while the other tries to impose its views on others. The second type of people have become violent and are targeting the Hindus. Those attacking are fanatics who were influenced by Manoharpanth Bhide and Milind Ekbote.
During the Maharashtra Bandh after the Bhima-Koregaon incident lot of damage was caused to public as well as private properties. There is a demand that the damaged caused should be compensated but then what about the damage done during first January incident where the innocent people were attacked, who would compensate for them, Ambedkar asked.
He also blamed the mediapersons for being silent that day. Media started the showing incident after the reactions. Ambedkar held media responsible for this. He said that the government arrested Bouddha and Dalit but action is not being taken against Bhide and Ekbote. He said after Bhima-Koregaon incident the government announced Judicial Commission but till now the commission has not been set up. If Commission is not set then how can inquiry take place. Ambedkar discussed with various organisations in Nagpur.
