National Basketball players and Junior India coach honoured in the city.

Nagpur Sports News: playing for India has always been every sportsman’s Dream and being felicitated for the same is an even bigger occasion. Sneha Rajguru represented India at the under 16 level while preparing for her 10th class examination and scored 94% marks in the process.

Sneha shared her experience with the city Hoopsters during their felicitation program that was jointly conducted by the Nagpur Amateur Sports Association (NASA) and Dharampeth Krida Mandal (DKM) on Thursday. The Trio from Pune Sneha, Shireen Limaye and Krittika Divadkar along with Shiba maggon were honored during this function.

While addressing the people present Sneha said “playing basketball has helped me in academics. The game made me more alert and also increased my concentration level. During my first international tournament I was preparing for my exams but I had confidence that I would pass both the test with flying colors and that’s what I managed to archive as I secured 94% marks in my SSC examination”

Satvik Financial Services Ltd presented all the 3 of them with an insurance of Rs 5 Lakh  while Shree Sports presented them with Rs 3000 worth of sports goods. The occasion was graced by the president of the Maharasthra State Basketball Association Mr. Devendra Fadnavis. The Treasurer of the association Anup Rajurkar proposed the vote of thanks on behalf of the association.
