Basic Mathematics paper of Polytechnic First Year leaked, now to be held on December 4

The Government Polytechnic, Mumbai cancelled the First Year Polytechnic paper Basic Mathematics (Paper Code Number 17104) scheduled to be held today (November 23) following leaking of the paper. Now, the paper will be held on December 4 at 2 pm. The students who had reached the centres at 9.30 am for the paper were sent back.

According the information received, the First Year paper of Polytechnic, Basic Mathematics got leaked therefore the paper was cancelled and next date of paper has been announced. There are a total of 96 centres in Nagpur and Amravati regions. The Government Polytechnic was stopped from distributing the paper. When the representatives of the centres reached the Government Polytechnic at 7 am for collecting the papers, they were informed of postponement of the paper. Thereafter, notice boards were put up at the centres informing the students of cancellation of the paper.

The students had reached the centres with all preparations but were sent back. The disappointed students said, they will have to make preparations afresh for the paper. Had they been informed of cancellation of paper in advance they could have been spared of wasting of time of going and returning from the centres without appearing for the paper. The cancellation of paper could affect their preparations, the students said.

The local Deputy Secretary of MSBTE Dr R V Yenkar said the Basic Mathematics paper (Paper Code Number 17104) was to be held on November 23 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. But now will be held on December 4 from 2 pm to 5 pm. The information regarding postponement of date could be seen on the website www.msbte.com by the students
