As the district administration passed an order to keep the liquor shops, bars and permit rooms closed till the Graduate Constituency election results are out this evening, the concerned business owners appeared desperate for the elections to end.

Most of them called Nagpur Today to find out the latest trend on the counting. However, what amazed the reporters was that they were well informed of the latest updates and had even informed that the second round has already started.
Unlike routine dry days, the orders confine the liquor business owners to keep their shops shut only till evening, whereas it remained closed for the entire 24 hours. This prompted many of these shops to wait till the elections end.
“We are certainly expecting big moolah this evening”, said a bar owner on condition of anonymity.
The declaration of results will bring more happiness to these owners of liquor shops and bars.
