Ayodhya hearing deferred again after judge exits case

The Supreme Court today said that a new bench will be constituted to hear the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land title dispute case after one of the members of a five-judge Constitution bench recused himself from the case.

A five-member bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi with Justices S A Bobde, N V Ramana, U U Lalit and D Y Chandrachud was set up for hearing the matter on a batch of petitions.
