- Crime Branch nabbed the absconding criminal Tushar Dalal, who tried to eliminate scribe Ravikant Kamble, from Pandhurna Town in Madhya Pradesh.

Nagpur: In a cracking success, Crime Branch of Nagpur Police on Saturday arrested the hardcore criminal Tushar Sahebrao Dalal, who along with his other accomplices, tried to eliminate Nagpur Today scribe Ravikant Kamble on Thursday night. The Crime Branch sleuths nabbed Tushar in Pandhurna Town of Madhya Pradesh within 48 hours of the incident. The dreaded criminal, along with five others, was sentenced to life imprisonment in the sensational Jitendra Gawande murder case and wanted by police for jumping parole.
The criminal and others on Thursday night attempted to eliminate Ravikant Kamble when he was having dinner at Dighori-based Green Bar and Restaurant along with his advocate friend. The bid to eliminate Kamble could be termed as a revenge act as he had uploaded news and CCTV camera footage showing Tushar Dalal’s involvement in the grisly murder of Jitendra Gawande in Seven Hill Bar and Restaurant, Sadar.
Since the murder attempt on Nagpur Today scribe Ravikant Kamble, the hardcore criminal Tushar Dalal went absconding. However, with the help of excellent surveillance and informant network, the sleuths of Nagpur Crime Branch tracked the wanted goon’s whereabouts and succeeded in nabbing him in Pandhurna Town of Madhya Pradesh on Friday (September 26).
Incidentally, a team of Nagpur Crime Branch policemen had gone to Deo Khapa village, Pandhurna in Madhya Pradesh for some Government work. There they received information about the incident that occurred in Nagpur. The team had knowledge that the criminal Tushar’s in-laws reside in the village. It is reported that wife and children of Tushar too were there. Taking a chance to find the absconding goon in the village, the Crime Branch team went to the house of Tushar’s in-laws and laid a trap. And to the pleasant surprise of the police team, the absconding criminal came there, indeed. The cops immediately overpowered him despite resistance from a group of villagers. The team managed to arrest and bring the wanted criminal Tushar Dalal to Nagpur. Later he was handed over to Hudkeshwar police for further investigation.
The action to arrest Tusahr Dalal was initiated by Head Constables Pramod Kohle, Vikas Pathak, Sharif Sheikh under the guidance of DCP Ranjan Sharma.
