Nagpur News: The AOC-in-C (Air Officer Commanding in chief) Invitational Golf Tournament was held at the Air Force Golf club, Amravati Road on 16 Oct and 19 Oct 2013.

The Tournament is held annually by the Anurakshan Kamaan Sports Complex (AKSC) and the Garuda Golf Institute Kamptee (GGI). It is the most prestigious golf tournament in central India.
Air Vice Marshal VS Bharti emerged as the Champion with Dr Vinay Tule and Shri Partha Majumdar finishing closely on Second position. Gp Gapt AK Upadhyay got the award for best in overall golfing style. This year tournament saw a record number of participants (Over 100) including lady participants.
Dr Vinay Tules’ son Ankur Tule who is a student of standard eleventh in Centre Point School took the prize for the longest drive. Ankur was incidentally winner of last years’ tournament.
This tournament is played over the complete circuit of 18 holes. It was sponsored by Noble Infratech Pvt Ltd.
