    Ammar Ahmed’s team wins silver medal in volleyball tournament

    Nagpur: Ammar Ahmed, son of WCL employee Arif Ahmed Khijrayi, led the India’s Under 19 volleyball team at International Volleyball Tournament-2019 held at Pokhra in Nepal. With excellent display, India won silver medal in the tournament.

    CMD R R Mishra congratulated Ammar and wished him best in future.

    Other countries that participated in the tournament, organised by Indo-Nepal Championship International Games-2019, include Nepal, Bhutan, South Korea and Thailand.

    Notably, Ammar, a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Vayusena Nagar, had represented Kendriya Vidyalaya sixes in national games. He had also brought laurels to his school in Chief Minister Sports Contest.
