Nagpur: Amit Samarth from Nagpur has done it! Conquered America by becoming the first Indian to successfully conclude the cycle Race Across America ( RAAM ) !!!
This news has just come in. We will provide more details later, including news of whether the other Indian, Srinivas,also from Maharashtra (Nasik) and also a Doctor, like Amit , emerged victorious too. By all accounts he also seemed like a winner.
RAAM is so tough to finish that in the last 35 years only 200 cyclists from across the world have been able to do it, while 2000 have succeeded in climbing Mount Everest.
Remember USA is a country like no other. Rugged, big and full of mountain ranges, deserts and perennially flowing long rivers. From coast to coast, a traveler can encounter all the weather conditions possible world wide.
