Nagpur Today: On occasion of 103rd International Women’s Day, the all Women Branch of Indian Overseas Bank situated at Hingna Road celebrated the day by disbursing loan to women for purchase of sewing machines, setting up beauty parlors, catering business and for other purposes.
The programme was graced with the dignitaries which included Chief Promoter and Secretary of Naageshwar Charitable Trust H M B Murthy, Chairperson of Vidharbha Industries Association, Lady Entrepreneurs’ Wing (VIA- LEW) Anita Rao and Secretary of VIA- LEW Dr. Vandana Sharma.
CRM Nagpur Aswin K J also participated in the event along with a group of women participant. The programme was taken in the right spirit by the women participants. All the guests appreciated the efforts put forward by Indian Overseas Bank towards the development of women. They also opined that these types of programmes are necessary to create awareness among the women.
