Nagpur: Ford India has added a new compact sedan the all New Ford Aspire to its family with some advance feature and new design. Aditya Mavillapalli, Sales director of Ford motors company Asia Pacific Operations in a car launch meet in Nagpur informed that the new Ford Aspire is compact sedan for Indian customers which gives a complete package of power, style, substance to its user with many add features with an aim to lead and not follow.
The compact sedan comes in five variants across two fuel options and seven colors. IT offers all-new, three cylinders of 1.2 L TiVCT petrol engine which generates best-in-class 96 PS peak power and 120 Nm of torque with a fuel efficiency of 20.4 KM/L, while in the diesel category it comprises with 1.5 L TDCi engine delivering class-leading 100 PS peak power, 215 Nm of torque and a fuel economy of 26.1 KM/L. The new manual transmission is almost 15% lighter and helps improve fuel economy while reducing NVH. Offering greater power of choice, Ford is also introducing its latest six-speed Automatic Transmission on the New Ford Aspire. Paired to the latest 1.5 L Petrol, three-cylinder engine, the Automatic New Ford Aspire delivers a peak power of 123 PS. All three engines will be the most powerful in their respective categories.
The add on features includes a compact, sub-4-meter design, a redesigned front fascia with a dynamic three-dimensional cellular grille. New fog lamps with premium chrome surrounding and harmoniously integrated into the front bumper. A reverse parking camera, best-in- class automatic climate control system, two USB slots, push-button start/stop, electrochromic IRVM, rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps among many others.
Looking after the safety measure while driving the all new Ford Aspire it offers up to six airbags on top Titanium+ trim.
Going beyond airbags, Ford Aspire will offer several features to enhance occupant safety such as Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD).
The New Ford Aspire will enable its owners to navigate quick turns and bends with Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) along with Automatic Transmission, the Hill-Launch Assist feature which will provide a greater control on inclines. It also offer Emergency Assistance, a potentially lifesaving technology that automatically calls emergency services from a paired phone in case of an accident.
Ensuring complete peace-of-mind, the New Ford Aspire is the only compact sedan in India to come with a first-in-class five-year or 100,000 KM warranty, which includes 2-year factory warranty and 3-year extended warranty.
Alongside, the New Ford Aspire will continue to offer lowest scheduled service and maintenance costs in its segment – at just 38 paisa per kilometer for petrol and 46 paisa per kilometer for diesel over 100,000 KM.
