Nagpur News : On Friday, vigilant citizens nabbed a thief trying to steal copper and iron bars from basement of Empress City Mall. Identified as Salman Khan Allauddin Khan (19), the accused is a resident of Grampratapganj, Taluka Sarjapur, Bihar. Salman was trying to steal copper and iron bars from Empress City Mall, Building No. H basement. Electrician Ramprakash Gahanmahanu Kushwah (23), a resident of Shaniwari, beside Jangade’s residence, Cotton Market was working in the basement with his team. He saw Salman stealing iron bar through a window. He immediately raised an alarm and caught Salman with the help of others.
Ganeshpeth Police rushed to the spot on being informed. On the complaint of Ramprakash, cops registered an offence against Salman under Sections 445 and 511 of the IPC. Further investigations are under way.
