Nagpur: About 85 per cent of the results of summer examinations conducted by Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) may be withheld, it was learnt. The respective colleges have failed to send the marks of practical and internal examinations, which had led to this mess.

As per information available with newspaper in Nagpur, the vice-chancellor Dr S V Kane has asked the examination department to declare the results as early as possible. However, in the absence of the practical and internal marks of the students, it is not possible to declare their results. Hence, the university administration has decided to withheld the results of those colleges that have failed to send the practical and internal marks of the students.

A review meeting was held by the examination department on the issue on Tuesday. It was informed in the meeting that many colleges have failed to send the marks of practical and internal examinations to the university. Till the time these marks are send, it is impossible to declare their results.

This decision of the university may put the students and their parents in a fix. Sources told media that most of the final year exam results are yet to be declared.
