IMG_5069Nagpur: The Spiritual Discourse (Adhyatmik Satsang), being organized by Shri Ramashram Satsang (Mathura) Nagpur Sub-Center in city, commenced at Shri Jain Shwetambar, Tera Panthi Sabha, Anuvrat Bhavan, Hiwri Nagar. In the Satsang, which literally means ‘The company of God,’ prayer meetings, group meditation were held.  The Spiritual Discourse is being organized on April 4, 5 and 6.

The speakers at the Satsang elaborated on the objectives in great length. The objectives are: To attain the state of everlasting peace and bliss in this very human life. This state is also known as the state of ‘self realization’ or liberation. To remain indulged in the remembrance of the Lord Almighty for all the 24 hours of the day. To attain the above state without renunciation of the worldly responsibilities and without taking away the normal time of discharging assigned responsibilities.  To attain the above state without resorting to difficult practices.

In 1930, Guru Maharaj, Paramsant Dr. Chaturbhuj Sahay Ji, established Ramashram Satsang Mathura (RSM) (naming it after his Guru, Lala Ji Maharaj, Paramsant Sri Ram Chandra Ji) in Mathura. He propagated a System of Meditation adaptable by people of any religion, community or race. This system is especially suited for our busy and demanding lives in today’s world. “If we shape our lifestyles and mold our thought processes according to it, spiritual success can be achieved effortlessly. We can learn to live a peaceful life amidst the stress,” said Guru Maharaj, Paramsant Dr. Chaturbhuj Sahay Ji.
