Nagpur: The number of active cases hit the below 100 mark in Nagpur district after months. With 23 persons becoming free from coronavirus the cumulative recovery reached 5,67,240. Recovery rate remained constant at 98.19% while active cases stood at 97.
The single-day Covid-19 cases reduced drastically to 8 with Nagpur rural reporting 5 cases. In the city,3 people tested positive for the virus taking the cumulative cases to 5,77,674. No case was reported from outside the district. On the second consecutive day only two persons having Covid-19 infection are taking treatment at hospitals. Thursday is the seventh day in a row when the district reported no deaths.

The Covid-19 testing in Nagpur district has registered a marginal fall to 2,336. Nagpur rural registered 533 testing while city registered 1,803 testing. This has taken the cumulative testing to 53,52,615.
