“Today’s education is short of many finer aspects of life. The libraries are neglected by Government. The libraries have been starved of the Government-level assistance because the Government doesn’t sense reading a good subject. The Government and the people’s representatives must help the libraries. Today’s generation is being denied the reading opportunities. The latest technology and the TV channels have pushed the children from the reading culture. The children are becoming addicts to bad habits. The children should be given the books of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi for reading so that they could learn about human values,” the Nagpur MP Vilas Muttemwar elaborated.
