Youths on bike decamped with cash Rs15 lakhs

Nagpur News : Monday morning, two youths on a bike, assaulted a 32-year-old man and decamped with bag having cash Rs 15 lakhs from him. The incident took place a Shitala Mata square on Umred road under the jurisdiction of Sakkardara police station area.

Abdul Ajiz Mohammad Saleem, a resident of Hasanbgh, collapsed after he reached police station to report the matter. He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) by police and later a case was registered.

Ajiz, president of Roshni Bahuddeshiya Sanstha, was carrying the collected amount to build a religious place at Hasanbagh. He told police that he had gone to collect the amount in self help group at Tajbagh. Since it was closed, he was heading home on his scooter when two youths on a bike stopped him. The pillion rider hit him on head and snatched away the nag hanged to the scooter handle.
