Divisional Sport Complex ready to welcome the guests
Over three thousand expert to attend the conference
Public work department, Maharashtra State is hosting the 79th Annual Session of the Indian starting from the Thursday, 22 November at Divisional Sport Complex. Mankapur. This would be the fourth time that Nagpur would be hosting this prestigious session. Around 3,000 scientific engineers and road development experts from across the country and abroad will attend the conference.
Technical Exhibition will inaugurated on Thrusday, 22 November by 10.00 am. On the 1st day four technical sessions have organized where IIT students would showcase their research papers in various sessions. Similarly Scientist in Roads Development sector and Construction entrepreneurs would also present technical research papers. Also they would provide relevant guidance. In evening, renowned singer Ashok Hande and team will present the cultural program.
The 79th Annual Session’s will be inaugurated by Mr. Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping on 23rd November 2018. Mr. Devendra Fadanvis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra will be the Chief Guest and Revenue Minister Chandrakant Dada Patil, RRD Minister Mrs. Pankaja Munde, Power Minister Mr. Chandrashekhar Bawankule, PWD Minister (MSRDC) Mr. Eknathrao Shinde, Minister of State PWD Mr. Pravin Pote, MOS Madan Yerawar, MOS Ranjit Patil also grace the function. The Ministers of Public Works of all states across country will be present at this conference. Union Transport Minister Shri. Nitin Gadkari and CM Mr. Devendra Fadanvis would address at this conference. In evening Shreya Ghosal live-in-concert have organized for the delegates.
On 24th November, research paper published in IRC Journal will present by the experts in 7 various technical sessions. Sessions will held between 11.00 am to 7.00 pm. In the cultural event Senior vocalist Suresh Wadkar and Sadhna Sargam along with standup comedian Raju Shrivastava will perform at evening.
The Session will conclude on Sunday, November 25 with council meeting.
In these four days scientific studies and research related to roads and infra are showcased. These studies help decide the parameters related to roads constructions in the country.
At this time special emphasis has been given to the people’s participation in the convention, and the stalls made available to the organizations operating in the areas of roads safety awareness. Apart from this, various public events are being conducted by the Public Works Department. Apart from this, technical exhibition will be open for general public.
Under the leadership of PWD Minister Chandrakant Dada Patil, Principal Sectreroy Mr. Manoj Saunik’s guideline and PWD Secretory Mr. C.P. Joshi and Secretory Ajit Sagane’s guidance the Chief Engineer, Public Works Department and the chairman of the organizing committee Shri. Ulhas Debadwar and the Superintending Engineer of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sakak Yojna and the organizing secretary (local) Shri. Ramesh Hotwani is observing the mega event.
