Nagpur: Utter chaos at the inauguration of MS Dhoni Academy, jointly started by SGR Sports Academy and Arc Sports and Gaikwad-Patil International School at Dongargaon near city, forced the disappointed former India Cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni to leave the programme in a huff midway.
The programme was organised at Gaikwad-Patil International School ground at 10.30 on Wednesday morning. Dhoni was to guide around 125 cricket loving students on the occasion. However, the moment the ace cricketer arrived at the venue, parents and volunteers stormed the place for having a glimpse of him. Taken aback by the ruckus, Dhoni expressed his disappointment with the organisers. Amid the uproar, Dhoni anyhow managed to reach the stage. As the programme commenced, a small girl with flowers to welcome Dhoni fell down following a jolt by bouncers. The incident sparked angry reaction from parents. The cricketer, already ‘angry’ with the organisers, left the stage in a huff midway of the programme.
The representatives of media too were distressed as the bouncers of Dhoni had stopped them twice.
