Nagpur: Under the jurisdiction of Umrer police station, a rashly driven Tipper dashed from behind a Maruti car No. MH 31/ CP 2586 which was being driven by a 70-year old man, Uttam Balkrishna Bagade, resident of Alondi. The accident occurred at Udasa area, 9 kms away from Umrer, on Sept 23, 2015 at about 7.30 pm. As a result Uttam Bagade became seriously injured and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur, but he died during treatment there.
According to police, the Tipper driver fled the spot. On the complaint filed by Navpal Khushal Rangari, 47, resident of Mohade Layout, Amravati Road, the Umrer police registered a case against unidentified driver under sections 279, 337, 304 (A) IPC read with 184, 134, 177 MV Act, and is hunting for the Tipper driver. APSI Sakore is further investigating the case.
