60-year old dies due to road accident

Nagpur: Under the jurisdiction of Umrer police station, a moto-cycle rider speedily riding his bike dashed a 60-year old man crossing on foot the bypass road at Gangapur on Sept 19, at about 1.30 pm, and ran away from the spot of accident.

According to police the injured oldman was rushed to Govt Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur but he died during treatment. The Umrer police, on the complaint of Manoj Gulab Dahake, 19, resident of Pardi, Kuhi taluka, has registered a case against the unknown bike rider under sections 279, 304 (A) IPC, and PHC Dhurve is further investigating the case
