6-hour power shut down at Navegaon-Khairi on August 9

: Nagpur Municipal Corporation has planned for a six hours shutdown for repair and maintenance work at it’s electrical substation at Navegaon-Khairy Pumping station on August 9 (Wednesday) .
The power shutdown will be from 10 AM to 4 PM .

During this period there will be restricted very Low pressure water supply in the command areas of Omkar Nagar, Mhalgi Nagar, Hanuman Nagar, Dhantoli, Nara, Nari, Jaripatka ESR’s and Civil lines and Sree Nagar main feeder lines.

Water supply through tankers shall also be not possible in these affected areas.

In present system the raw water pumping station at Navegaon -Khairy Headworks pumps water directly to the major water treatment plants in city like Pench –IV WTP at Godhani and Pench-1, Pench-2, Pench-3 at Gorewada. Almost 65 per cent city gets water supply from Navegaon –Khairi (Pench River).
