Nagpur: The 58th International Deaf Day was successfully observed at NIT Sabhagruh, here in the city the other day, under the auspices of Vidarbha Badhir Sangh, and peaceful rally was also organized.
West Nagpur MLA Sudhakar Deshmukkh was the chief guest of the programme. In his address, he assured the Nagpur Badhir organizational unit that he would fully cooperate in making them the required land and the building for them.
The programme, which was presided over by Vidarbha Badhir Sangh President Akbar Dhamani, was attended by the dumb and deaf from across Maharashtra. Nagpur unit secretary Sandip Lahoti proposed the vote of thanks.
