Delhi/ Nagpur: “Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat’s views on current reservation policy, as expressed in RSS mouth-piece Panchjanya and Organizer, were based on the concept of integrated humanity ideology and not contra to existing reservation policy benefiting the needy,” explained Akhil Bhartiya Prachar Pramukh, Manmohan Vaidya in a press note on Tuesday.
Further clarifying the views of Dr Bhagwat which have been politically misinterpreted, Vaidya said, the RSS Sarsanghchalak’s remarks were not against various weaker sections deriving the benefits of reservation; rather the Sarsanghchalak is of the view that all citizens, in tune with Constitutional limitations, should get together to decide that the benefit of reservation must be admissible to all weaker sections, keeping in view the welfare of integrated humanity.
