51 affiliated college managements resent varsity ban to admit students

Nagpur News: Posing legal challenge by filing writ petition to the notice served upon 51 affiliated colleges” managements including local Akar Bahuuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha”s management, by the RTM Nagpur University on June 7 last, for not admitting students for the Academic Year 2013-14 without appointing full-time qualified staff, these petitioners have intimated to the High Court here, that despite repeated efforts on their part, these managements could not find qualified teachers in adequate numbers to appoint them, due to such persons” non-availability.

While voicing their grievance about paucity of qualified teaching staff, the petitioners have placed on record, through their petition, all developments regarding changes in qualifications from 1991 till date.

Justice Bhushan Dharmadhikari and Justice Atul Chandurkar have passed order ,instructing the petitioner-managements to approach the University ,pointing out to it, the efforts made by them for making appointments of full-time qualified staff and difficulties faced by them due to non-availability of such personnel.
