Nagpur News: 47th LIC Western Zonal Table Tennis Tournament start July 16 at R.T.M.N.U. Subhedar Hall,Ravi Nagar ,Nagpur. Teams from 22 Divisions of LIC of India , Western Zone comprising of the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa are participating in the two day event.
Dr.Gopal Dhawan, Chairman-cum-Managing Director MOIL will inaugurate the tournament at 9 am on 16th july , Deepak Kanetkar from Nagpur will be the Chief Referee of the Tournament.
Host Nagpur Division team will be represented by Digambar M.Ramtekkar in Men sections and Sanjula Mishra in Women section.
Match start at 10:30 AM onward on 16th july and 9:00 Am on 17th july. Final will be played at 4:00 pm on 17th followed by prize distribution ceremony by hand of Rajesh Middha, Regional Manager ( HRD ), LIC, Western Zone, Mumbai.
An Organising Committee, along with various sub-committees has been formed for the smooth conduct of the tournament headed by Chairman R. Chander, Sr. Divisional Manager , R. Debgupta, Vice Chairman, M.K. Pande, Vice Chairman, K.S.Johar , Manager( P&IR) Vice Chairman, Sanjay Vyas, Organising Secretary, Milind Rambhad, Jt.Secretary and Abhay Nimje,Tresasurer.
