3rd year Government polytechnic college student hangs self

After appearing for final paper on Saturday morning, a 19-year-old polytechnic student hanged himself at his Gondpura residence on Saturday afternoon. Shubham Mahalle from Karanja, Wardha, was staying as a tenant at Gondpura.

Police told that Mahalle was a third year polytechnic student of Government Polytechnic College. He appeared for his annual paper on Tuesday morning and returned home around 2 pm.

The suicide came to light after an hour when he didn’t respond to landlord’s call. The landlord broke open the door and found Mahalle hanging to the ceiling hook.
Cops suspect fear of poor result might be reason might have forced Mahalle to take the extreme step. Sadar police has registered a case of an accidental death.
