28 constables in Nagpur turn Police Inspectors

Nagpur News : Twenty-eight policmen from Nagpur have been elevated to the post of police inspector after they passed the examinations conducted by Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). The selected candidates would soon move for their training session before resuming the posts.

Senior police officials have felicitated the employees for their success.

About 20,000 police employees from around the state took up the examination. Of the passouts, 128 are from Vidarbha including 28 constables from Nagpur.

These included Digambar Rathod, Mukund Jadhav, Neelam Dongre, Rajesh Khandade, Umakant Rathod, Ganpat Kaluse, Rahul Dhurve, Amit Pandey, Shivaji Borker, Amar Nagre, Rajkumar Tripathi and others.

MPSC has conducted the selection examinations last year for 750 posts of PI, which was divided into three levels comprising pre-eligibility test, main exam and physical examination.
