The Nagpur branch of Central Bureau of Investigation has on Wednesday raided upon the offices and residence of three people who were allegedly involved in luring the city youths into false job promise. CBI has recovered documents pertaining to the profiles of around 5000 job aspirants from whom the culprits have reportedly taken large sums of money that ran into lakhs of rupees. The accused allegedly took the money for getting the youths jobs in railway.

The Central Bureau of Investigation, ACB, Nagpur has registered case vide RC.02(A)/2013 on 28/01/2013 against Shri Vijay S/o Guruprasad Patel, Head TNC Central Railway, Nagpur, Shri Birendra Singh Ramkumar Khairwar, Director of Ganesh HRD Agency, Smt Archana Mehta, R/o Manish Nagar, Nagpur and other unknown officials of Indian Railway under sections 120 (B) r/w 420, 467,468,471 of IPC and u/s 13(2) r/w13(1) (d)  P.C. Act, 1988 on the basis of complaint of Shri Raghuveer Singh Nirwan and Shri Vishal Waghmare r/o. Kamptee Dist. Nagpur.

The arrested men – Virendra Singh Khairwar, Vijay Patel and Archana Mehta have been operating the notorious racket of honey trapping the youths from Nagpur and various districts of Vidarbha along with the educated jobless people from neighboring Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. The accused also asked for documents from these youths so that their dubious act could not be doubted.

It is learnt that Virendra Khairwar is an office bearer of Congress party while Vijay Patel is working at some technical post in railway. CBI is further investigating their whereabouts.
