Nagpur News: In an incident of shame a minor girl was raped in Nagpur city. The rape incident, more than adequately, proves the utter failure on the part of mankind themselves in crushing the ugly head which shows its presence every minute at one place or the other in the entire country.
According to police, one Akash Chayansingh Chavan (25), a resident of Shafi Nagr, Zingabai Takli, taking advantage of the girl being alone in her house, entered the 14-year old girl’s house and disgustingly raped her. The girl, a student, most probably the resident of same locality, narrated the disturbing incident to her relatives who arrived at home sometime later.
The relatives along with the girl reached the Gittikhadan Police Station and lodged a complaint against Akash Chayansingh Chavan for raping the girl. Police registered an offence against the youth under relevant sections of IPC and are searching him for his arrest.
