Nagpur: With a malafide motive only to satisfy his lust, a 24 year-old accused had made a false promise of marriage and raped a 20-year-old girl repeatedly from July 2016 to September 2016 in Kalamna area.
According to police, the 20-year-old victim who is a resident of Kalamna was enticed by the accused identified as Sunil Gangadin Shahu aged 24 years and a resident of Ganeshpeth Nagpur had taken her to an under-construction building in the locality of the victim and raped her repeatedly against her wishes.
After that, the accused had also issued threats if she related the incident to anyone.
On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, Woman Police Sub Inspector Kokne of Kalamna Police Station has registered a case of rape against the accused under Sections 376(2) (N) and has initiated an investigation in the case.
