Nagpur News: Employing two unidentified women as maids proved very costly for a youth as the women relieved him of his expensive gold hand watch worth Rs 1,50,000 on the very first day. The bizarre incident occurred at about 12 noon on Saturday in the posh Ramdaspeth area of the city.

According to police, the complainant Prateek Nitin Suchak (25), resident of Plot No. 46, ‘Shiv Niketan, near Lendra Park, Ramdaspeth, was in need of maids for domestic works. Subsequently, Prateek called two women (unidentified) to his residence and asked them to sit near kitchen door. At that time, Prateek’s mother was performing “puja.” He informed his mother about the two women and went for a bath. In the meanwhile, taking advantage of the situation, the two women laid their hands on a gold hand watch kept on the  dressing table and vanished from the scene without doing a single other work. This “clever act” of the two women made “fool” of Prateek as it cost him Rs 1,50,000.

Sitabuldi PSI Shejav, acting on the complaint lodged by Prateek Suchak, has registered an offence under Sections 380, 34 of the IPC and launched a hunt to nab the unidentified women burglars.
