Nagpur: Two teenagers, a 16-year old girl and 13-year old boy, went missing and were reportedly kidnapped from different areas within 48 hours.
The 16-year old girl, resident of Kalamna area, left home between 1 pm and 5 pm by telling her parents that she is going for shopping. However, the teenage girl was lured by unidentified person(s) and taken away. When she did not return home for a considerable time, the panicky relatives lodged a complaint with Kalamna police in this regard.
Similarly, the 13-year old Adil, son of Salim Ansari Ishaq Ansari (34) of Plot No. 35, Raza Nagar, MIDC, left home along with an unidentified person in the small hours (5 am) on Monday (September 19). Adil did not return home to date forcing his relatives to launch a frantic search but to no avail. Finally, a complaint was filed with MIDC police in this connection.
In both the cases, WPSI Kokane of Kalamna and ASI Pande of MIDC, as per the directives of Supreme Court which say that if any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case be treated as that of kidnapping, have registered cases under Section 363 of IPC and mounted a search to trace both the kids.
