Nagpur News : Two Sharp shooters from AP has been arrested for the murder of bullion trader Vijay Thawkar by Hudkeshwar police.
Squads of senior inspector WT Wandre, Suresh Shinde, API Vijay Akot and API V Dighore of Hudkeshwar police station had fanned out across the state after call details suggested the locations of the culprits. The teams, working deputy commissioner of police, Zone-IV, Chandra Kishor Mina, are still camping in Mumbai and AP to round up the rest of the accused.
According to police the Butibori-based Bawari brothers masterminded the dacoity attempt that ended in murder. They revealed after their arrest on Wednesday that they had brought shooters from Andhra Pradesh to commit the offence.
Tarasingh and his younger brother Lakhansingh Bawari, belonging to Sikhalkari community, were arrested by Hudkeshwar police after painstakingly going through the call details of the mobile phone recovered from the crime scene. Both brothers have criminal records. This is the third arrest in the case after Dadasingh Tak from Amravati. But Tak’s role is not yet clear, and he may even be discharged after the investigation is completed.
