2 employees of a company robbed of Rs 3.50 lakh in Civil Lines

robbery nandwanNagpur: In a filmy style broad daylight heist, two motorcycle-borne criminals robbed two employees of a chemicals company to the tune of Rs 3.50 lakh in posh and busy area of Civil Lines on Thursday. Now the two robbers are subject of a massive manhunt mounted by cops.

The two employees of Suyog Chemicals Pvt Ltd, Raju Adkuji Tumsare (44), resident of near Godrej Andaman World City Society, beside Model Mill Gate and the office clerk Chandrashekhar Zanzad, on Thursday noon went to ICICI Bank’s Civil Lines Branch and withdrew Rs 3.50 lakh from company’s account. After withdrawing the amount, the two employees proceeded to the company’s office on their motorcycle. Midway, when the duo reached in front of Axis Bank around 12.15 pm, the two unidentified Pulsar motorcycle-borne robbers came from behind and stopped them by coming the in front of their bike. As soon as the two employees stopped their motorcycle, the robbers snatched the rexin bag containing Rs 3.50 lakh from them and speeded away even before the two employees of Suyog Chemicals Pvt Ltd could raise an alarm. The black-coloured Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle of robbers bore no registration numbers indicating the two goons committed the heist in a planned manner.

The shell-shocked employee duo alerted their company as well as Sitabuldi police about the road robbery.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Surendrasingh registered a case against the two unidentified robbers under Section 392, 34 of IPC and mounted a hunt to nab them.
