When the trio reached near the Dighori flyover, an 18 wheeler trailer came from behind and crushed both the father and the son to death. Both the father and the son died on the spot, while the condition of the daughter is said to be critical.

The trailer driver attempted to flee with his vehicle, but some alert citizens managed to chase the trailer and nab the driver in Mhalgi Nagar Square. The alert citizens include Mohammed Kalambhai, Sunil Komaria and others.

The flyover at Dighori is said to be pitch-dark with the absence of traffic lights. Many anti-social elements commit many crimes on the road. With many pot-holes, the road users face harrowing experience to traverse the path. There are more than a dozen godowns of cement companies.

Many 18-wheel trailers stand on both sides of the road. As soon as the godowns open and the cement delivery starts and fine dust of cement is in the air which often even enters the houses of those living in the vicinity. Many people have started getting Pulmonary ailments due to the fine dust of cement in the air that they are forced to breathe.

The problems of the people living in the vicinity had doubled after the sand ghats have started appearing. Even after repeated complaints to the concerned departments, no action is taken against the erring traders. A spirit of discontent is spreading among the citizens of the area. The officials of concerned departments have been given a period of eight days to control and take pro-active steps failing which the  citizens will be forced to take violent agitations.
