    17-year old girl narrowly escapes kidnapping by unidentified car-borne persons near Dayanand Park, Jaripatka

    Nagpur News: A 17-year old girl narrowly escaped kidnapping by car-borne 3 persons on Thursday night.

    According to police, the girl had gone to a grocery shop Gurunanak Kirana, near Dayanand Park, Jaripatka. But when the girl was returning home with some grocery material, in a filmy style, a white-coloured van stopped near her and the three accused caught hold of her hand and asked her to sit in the van.

    However, the girl loudly shouted for help. At the same two-cycle riders also shouted “Pakdo Pakdo” (Catch, catch). The shouts by both the girl and two men panicked the three persons who immediately released the girl’s hand and fled away. The girl lodged a complaint with Jaripatka Police Station in this connection.

    The Jaripatka PSI Bharsakale booked the unidentified persons under Sections 363, 511 of the IPC and probing the matter further.

    The girl not only escaped kidnapping but some certain potential untoward incidents.
