A 17-year-old boy was kidnapped and thrashed black and blue by six miscreants on Friday under the jurisdiction of Koradi police station. Dinesh Vinayak Gupta (17), a resident of slums behind Sant Dnyaneshwar Society, was kidnapped in a white car from beside Ismail Timber, Mankapur on Friday.
He was forcefully taken to a room in Faras. He was beaten black and blue in the room. Later he was taken to an empty place and was again thrashed with wooden sticks and wires. He somehow managed to crawl back to the road where commuters rushed him to hospital and later informed Koradi police.
Cops have booked six persons after registering an offence under Sections 342, 363, 324, 504, and 34 of the IPC.
