Nagpur News: Stretching the adventure too far proved costly for a 16-year old boy as he lost his life.
According to police, the victim Pratik Rajesh Gajbhiye (16), resident of Plot No. 235, PTS Quarters, Chandan Nagar, Nagpur and his friends had come to Ambajhari Garden for a joy ride. While strolling near the Ambajhari Lake, Pratik and his friends were seating near the shores of the lake. Pratik, in his adventure for a photograph of him in the waters, entered the lake and asked his friends to click him in their camera. But Pratik, slowly and steadily went deeper and deeper in his adventure that ultimately proved fatal.
Pratik drowned in deep waters with his friends remaining just bystanders to the shocking incident. Ambajhari police, acting on the complaint of Kunal Sanjay Kshirsagar (16), resident of Plot No 12, Kesharmata Nagar, Nagpur, registered a case of accidental death.
